Aimee Xiao is a Chinese artist working in London. She attended Chelsea College of Arts, completing her BA in Fine Art. She has exhibited internationally, with group shows in London, Shanghai and Tokyo. Xiao’s work focuses on storytelling and world-building through painting, approaching the canvas as a narrative space. Her paintings often feature uncanny subjects, with a visual language informed by supernatural beings from East Asian mythology and contemporary imagery drawn from video games and manga.
